Serbia - 33 thousand euros fine from UEFA

The Serbian Football Federation also suffered from racist chants. UEFA announced that the upcoming European Championship qualifier match on November 14th between Serbia and Luxembourg will have to be played behind closed doors. UEFA investigated inappropriate behavior by Serbian fans during the lost match in Belgrade against Portugal (2:4) in September. The match report stated that not only racist chants were heard in the stadium, but also other "inappropriate chants", pyrotechnics were used, and fans invaded the pitch. In case of similar incidents within one year, Serbia would have to play another home match without spectators. UEFA's Disciplinary Committee also fined the Serbian Football Federation €33,250. Additionally, during the match at home against Ukraine on November 17th, Serbians are obliged to display a flag with the UEFA logo and the inscription "#EqualGame".
