Serbia managed to overcome Finland's resistance and expand the last European road to the 2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup final stage in Lithuania. In the knockout stage of the qualifiers, the Serbs won the first match 1-0, and drew the second match 5-5. The hero of the match was Lazarevičius, who scored three goals, while Prsičius and Stojkovičius each scored once. Serbia is playing in the Futsal World Cup for the second time. Eight years ago, they reached the quarterfinals in Thailand, where they lost to Argentina. The championship in Lithuania will start on September 12, 2021, and finish on October 3.
