Serie A: "Fiorentina" and "Milan" lost points, Rome clubs and "Napoli" celebrated victories (VIDEO)

Seven matches were played in the Italian championship.

The absolute underdog of the league failed to overcome the players of Fiorentina fighting for a place in the UEFA Champions League. Although they took the lead after Mauro Zarate's goal at the end of the first half, they were unable to maintain their advantage.

As the second half was coming to an end, Eros Pisano scored after Urby Emanuelson's pass, and because of his goal, Fiorentina defeated Inter Milan in this round.

Roma increased the gap against Paulo Sousa's players by beating Udinese 2-1 as visitors. In this match, "Giallorossi" played slightly better and Edin Dzeko scored in the 15th minute. Alessandro Florenzi secured the capital team's lead in the middle of the second half, so Bruno Fernandes's goal in the 85th minute only provided a bit of consolation to their home fans.

Milan, on the other hand, could not overcome Chievo Verona. In a tough match where "rossoneri" were forced to substitute their goalkeeper, the result ended in a goalless draw.

In the evening matches, Rome's Lazio and Napoli won.

The "Eternal City" eleven won at home with a minimal result against Atalanta from Bergamo. Both goals in this match were scored by veteran Miroslav Klose. With these three points, Stefano Pioli's army closed in on Juventus after their defeat to Sassuolo yesterday.

Meanwhile, the Southern Italian team also beat Palermo 1-0. Gonzalo Higuain's penalty goal brought them victory, keeping them close behind Juventus.
