Played last weekend's matches in the Italian championship.
Several unexpected outcomes were recorded in them. Milan's "Inter" club took the lead at home against "Cagliari", but ultimately had to acknowledge the opponents' advantage.
Mauro Icardi, after failing to convert a penalty kick in the first half, was eventually replaced by Joao Mario, but the victory for the opponents was brought by precise strikes by Federico Melchiorri and Samir Handanovic's own goal.
Meanwhile, Rome's "Lazio" club also came one step away from defeat against "Bologna" in front of their home fans. Here, Filip Helander scored in the tenth minute and it seemed like the capital's footballers would have to accept defeat.
However, they fought until the end and after Marios Oikonomou's foul against Wallace in the 97th minute, Ciro Immobile converted a penalty kick.
"Inter" dropped to 12th place after the defeat, while "Lazio", with the points won, drew level with "Napoli" in third place.
Finally, in the evening match in Verona, the local "Chievo" and "Milan" teams met. Guests took the lead in this clash at the end of the first half with a goal from Juraj Kucka, and Mbaye Niang scored at the beginning of the second half.
It seemed like the "Rossoneri" would secure a comfortable victory, but in the 76th minute Walter Birsa brought intrigue back with his goal. However, in added time, Dario Dainelli sent the ball into his own net with the help of Carlos Bacca, and this victory allowed "Milan" to rise to third place in the league table.
