Serie A: "Lazio" stuns "Sampdoria", while "Roma" crushes "Milan" (VIDEO)

Today in the Italian championship eight interesting matches were played.

Atalanta lost points against Udinese in Bergamo.

Gian Piero Gasperini's team did not outscore their opponents in these matches and did not take home a victory, despite leading after Bryan Cristante's goal at the end of the first half. Stipe Perica responded with a precise strike after the break and the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Milan's Inter, occupying the seventh position, lost to Genoa and complicated their chances of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League. The only goal of the match was scored by Goran Pandev in the 70th minute, and Antonio Candreva missed a penalty kick at the end of the match.

Roma's Lazio achieved an incredible victory, breaking through Sampdoria's defense. Balde Keita opened the scoring for the capital's team in the second minute, and Milan Skriniar was sent off the field before the end of the first half. Ciro Immobile then scored from the penalty spot.

Sampdoria did not give up after the break and reduced the gap with a goal from Karol Linetty, but this only awakened Lazio, who added more goals scored by Wesley Hoedt, Felipe Anderson, and Stefan De Vrij before the halftime.

In the second half, Simone Inzaghi's team finished the job with goals from Senad Lulic and a double by Immobile, making Fabio Quagliarella's goals just a formality.

The capital team continues to fight for the fourth place, but the bronze medal is almost out of reach for them.

In the evening, fans gathered at the San Siro stadium for the match between Milan and Roma. However, the fans were disappointed at the beginning of the match.

Mohamed Salah and Edin Dzeko scored the first goal in the eighth minute, and Dzeko himself doubled the lead with a header before halftime.

Despite Milan's team controlling the ball for a bit longer, they did not give up easily, even after conceding two goals. Indeed, they managed to reduce the deficit with a goal from Mario Pasalic in the 76th minute.

However, the opponents were not intimidated, and they finished their job a few moments later, scoring with a header by Stephan El Shaarawy and a precise penalty kick by Daniele De Rossi, which was awarded after Gabriel Paletta was sent off the field.

Roma regained the second place in the league standings after this victory and closed the gap to Juventus to just seven points.
