"Serie A" leaders had different results against Genoa clubs, "Milan" defeated "Napoli" (VIDEO)

The battles of the fifteenth round of the Italian championship continue. Today, fans witnessed two "Serie A" leaders facing off against the Genoa clubs climbing up the tournament table, while in the evening match, there was a clash between "Milan" and "Napoli."

The first to enter the battle were the defending champions Turin "Juventus" and "Sampdoria" footballers. Although the "bianconeri" dominated at home in terms of ball control, and defender Patrice Evra scored after a pass from Claudio Marchisio in the twelfth minute, the match ended in a draw. At the start of the second half, Manolo Gabbiadini managed to equalize the score, with the accurate pass coming from Citadines Martins Eder.

The stumble of the competitors was seized by "Roma." The capital team defeated the once fifth-placed "Genoa" with a minimal result in away game. The scorer of the goal in the first half for "Giallorossi" was the amazing strike by Radja Nainggolan, but it's worth mentioning that after the hosts' player received a red card, Adem Ljajic failed to convert a penalty kick eleven meters earlier.

After today's matches, "Roma" is now one point closer to "Juventus."

In other matches, the eighth-placed "Udinese" lost at home to the league average Verona "Hellas." The hosts took the lead after Antonio Di Natale's accurate shot, but at the end of the first half, Luca Toni scored, and a few minutes into the second half, Lazaros Christodoulopoulos added another goal.

At the "San Siro" stadium, "Milan" players managed to defeat the visitors from Napoli. The score was 1-0 already in the sixth minute when Jeremy Menez cleverly sent the ball into the far corner of the goal with his left foot after a pass from Giacomo Bonaventura.

In the first half, fans didn't see more goals, but just at the beginning of the second, the same Bonaventura scored a header goal after a pass from Pablo Armero. Rafa Benitez's players couldn't offer a response to the attacks by the Milanese.

After the victory, "rossoneri" surpassed their opponents in the standings and also managed to pass them due to a better goal difference. The team led by Filippo Inzaghi is now in sixth place in "Serie A."
