"Serie A" leaders are making plans on when to resume the season suspended due to the coronavirus outbreak. "La Repubblica" reports that with the situation slowly improving in the country, professional clubs' training sessions could resume from May 4. This would mean that after about a month, on May 31, the "Serie A" championship would resume and matches would be played until August 3. This would give the footballers a month of rest and physical preparation camp, and the 2020-2021 season would start at the beginning of September. However, according to the press, teams from regions most affected by the pandemic such as "Milan", "Inter", "Atalanta" and "Brescia" might have to play in neutral venues as a precaution. Championship matches, of course, would be played without spectators, the press assures."
