On Thursday, two matches of the 30th round of the "Serie A" championship were played.
The "Sassuolo" team achieved an easy victory at home, crushing the last-placed "Chievo" team 4-0.
In the 4th minute, M. Demiral scored the opening goal for the hosts, doubling Sassuolo's advantage right at the end of the first half.
In the 47th minute, M. Locatelli added another goal, and D. Berardi sealed the victory in the 57th minute.
In the 89th minute, "Chievo" had a great chance to score a consolation goal, but E. Giaccherini missed from the penalty spot.
After this win, Sassuolo climbed to the 11th place in the league table.
In other matches, "Atalanta" also achieved an easy victory, beating "Bologna" 4-1 at home.
Atalanta scored all their goals in the first fifteen minutes of the match: J. Ilicic scored in the 3rd and 5th minutes, H. Hateboer in the 9th minute, and D. Zapata in the 15th minute.
In the 54th minute, R. Orsolini scored a consolation goal for the "Bologna" team.
After this victory, Atalanta sits in 5th place, just points behind 4th-placed AC Milan, while Bologna remains in 18th place.
