In Italy, the eighteenth round of the national championship began and two matches were played on Saturday night. Both matches ended in a 1-1 draw.
The first to enter the battle were the neighbors on the tournament table: "Sassuolo" in tenth place and "Udinese" in eleventh place. The home footballers failed to defeat their opponents from Udine, despite leading in all statistical categories.
After playing for 15 minutes, "Sassuolo" was brought ahead by striker Simone Zaza, but shortly after, Cyril Thereau restored the balance. The fans gathered at the stadium did not see more accurate shots.
Later in Turin, there was a clash between "Torino" and "AC Milan".
The guests were able to score in the third minute, when Jeremy Menez converted a penalty kick from eleven meters. However, at the end of the second half, "rossonerri" defender Mattia De Sciglio received his second yellow card and Filippo Inzaghi's pupils failed to hold on in the tenth position.
The home team, pressed by their opponents, achieved their goal in the 81st minute. The equalizing goal was scored by Kamil Glik. The pressure did not decrease afterwards, but "Torino" failed to secure the victory.
"Milan" remains in seventh place after the draw, but tomorrow they could drop to eighth. Meanwhile, Turin's team is moving up to thirteenth place, but after tomorrow's matches they could drop even further - by three positions.
