"Sevilla" defeats "Atletico" for the second time and advances to the King's Cup semi-final.

In the King's Cup quarterfinals, Madrid's "Atletico" team failed to recover from their initial loss to the "Sevilla" team and withdrew from the title fight before the semifinals. "Sevilla" confidently beat "Atletico" players 3:1 at home.

The "Atletico" team lost the first match 1:2 and had to win in Seville, but the home team immediately sent "Atletico" into a tailspin when Sergio Escudero scored a goal in the 1st minute of the match.

Although Antoine Griezmann managed to equalize the match in the 13th minute, a similar scenario followed after the break. This time, Ever Banega was able to defeat "Atletico" goalkeeper Miguel Moya from the penalty spot in the 48th minute and once again put "Sevilla" ahead.

Although "Atletico" had great chances to bring intrigue back into the match, in the 79th minute Pablo Sarabia responded to all questions, increasing "Sevilla's" lead to 3:1 and opening the way for their team to the King's Cup semifinals.

"Sevilla" became the first team to reach the semifinals, and tomorrow the teams of "Alaves" and "Valencia" and Madrid's "Real" and "Leganes" will enter the fight, while on Thursday the last semifinal participant will be determined in the match between the teams of "Barcelona" and "Espanyol".
