"Sevilla" has fired P. Machin, who withdrew from the Europa League.

"Sevilla" will not raise the UEFA Europa League trophy again - the Andalusian team unexpectedly lost to Prague's "Slavia" team and ended their journey in the tournament.

"Sevilla" was eliminated in the quarter-finals in the final minutes - "Slavia" scored two goals in extra time and triumphed with a score of 4:3 in the two-legged tie.

The Andalusians will no longer compete for any trophies this season, so changes were decided in the team - head coach Pablo Machin was sacked.

The 43-year-old strategist started the season brightly with "Sevilla", but then the results started to decline and now the team is not even sure if they can finish the season in the top four of the Spanish league.

P. Machin will be replaced by the club's sports director Joaquin Caparros until the end of the season.

"Sevilla" is currently in fifth position, while fourth-placed Madrid's "Getafe" has a five-point lead.

We can confirm that the Club has parted company with Pablo Machin. He will be replaced as First Team coach by Joaquin Caparros until the end of the season. We'd like to thank Pablo and his team for all their hard work at #SevillaFC. More info at https://t.co/tE6ENP1Hu3 pic.twitter.com/iHgIWb85Wl.
