„Sevilla“ found a replacement for the departed Diego Carlos. The Sevilla team officially announced on Friday that they have acquired one of the best defenders in the Turkish league, Marcão, from the „Galatasaray“ team. The 26-year-old defender from Brazil joined „Sevilla“ for 12 million euros plus 3 million in possible bonuses. This weekend, the defender will undergo medical tests after which he will be able to join the team for preseason training camp. Marcão is not known for scoring goals or providing assists, but he excelled in one of these indicators in the last Europa League season, where „Galatasaray“ fell only to „Barcos“. Marcão likes to play short passes and intercept balls. „Aston Villa“ bought D. Carlos from „Sevilla“ for 31 million euros.

We have an agreement in principle with @Galatasaray for the signing of Marcão! 🤝
