On Wednesday night, the second leg of the first King's Cup semi-final matches was played in Spain.
Sevilla hosted Leganes, who had eliminated Real Madrid in the previous round. The Andalusians triumphed - a 2-0 victory secured their spot in the final.
The hosts took the lead through Joaquin Correa, who scored after a great run by Luis Muriel in the penalty area. Leganes tried to fight back, but the guests struggled in attack and had few chances to equalize.
At the end of the match, Leganes pushed all their efforts into attacking, but in the 89th minute they were finally "killed off" - Franco Vazquez, left up front with Sandro Ramirez, broke free from the defenders and secured Sevilla's place in the final with a great strike.
The first leg in Leganes ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the King's Cup final, Sevilla will face Barcelona, the winner of the pairing with Valencia. Barcelona won the first match between these two teams 1-0.
