"Sevilla" once again defeated "Lazio" and advanced to the Europa League quarterfinals.

On Wednesday, the first leg of the UEFA Europa League quarter-finals was played.

In Seville, the first participant of the quarter-finals was revealed - "Sevilla" once again defeated Roma's "Lazio" and secured their place in the next stage, where all participants will be revealed on Thursday.

In the first match, the Andalusians won by a minimal difference, so "Lazio" had to press their opponents from the first minutes.

Nothing similar happened at the "Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan" stadium - "Sevilla" played their usual football and quickly gained the advantage. In the 20th minute, Wissam Ben Yedder scored and put them ahead in the first duel.

In the second half, "Lazio" revived hope when Franco Vazquez was sent off in the 60th minute. However, after 11 minutes, the guests themselves earned a red card and the match ended with both teams playing with ten.

In the 78th minute, Pablo Sarabia sealed the victory for "Sevilla" with a final score of 3-0.
