In Sunday's "La Liga" match, "Sevilla" defeated "Getafe" at home with a score of 2:1.
The first goal of the match came in the 36th minute. After a pass from Ivan Rakitić, Marcos Acuña scored with a header from a set piece, beating the opponents' goalkeeper.
At the end of the first half, "Getafe" also managed to send the ball into the net, but Enes Ünal's accurate shot was disallowed after a VAR review.
In the second half, the visitors had the initiative, but at the end of the match, "Sevilla" found a few opportunities to score and one of them was successfully converted in the 81st minute. Rafa Mir scored after a pass from Oliver Torres.
"Getafe" players were able to reduce the deficit after Borja Mayoral scored in the 87th minute, but it was not enough for them to at least level the score in this match.
After this match, "Sevilla" rises to the 17th position in the league table, tying in points with "Cadiz" one place below.
