In another match, Barcelona's "Espanyol" once again left "Girona" without a victory. Christiano Stuani's benefit goal in the seventh minute gave the visitors a two-goal advantage. In the second half, the teams exchanged goals, resulting in a 3-1 victory for the "Girona" team.
"Espanyol" remains in fifth position, while "Girona" leveled with Madrid's "Real" after the victory.
In the last match of the evening, "Villarreal" achieved their first victory of the season in front of their audience. After a successful start to the second half, the "Submarines" defeated Seville's "Real Betis" with a score of 2-1.
