On Sunday, four matches of the 36th round of the "La Liga" championship took place. The victory at home was achieved by "Sevilla", fighting for a place in the Champions League, who managed to beat "Mallorca" with a score of 2:0. The hosts took the lead in the 41st minute after Lucas Ocampos converted a penalty from 11 meters. The victory of the "Sevilla" team was sealed in the 84th minute by Youssef En-Nesyri. After this victory, the Seville club almost secured a place in the next season's Champions League, while "Mallorca" moved closer to relegation to a lower division. In other matches, "Valencia" suffered an unexpected defeat, losing 0:1 to "Leganes" away. The only goal of the match was scored by Ruben Perez in the 18th minute from the penalty spot. "Valencia" had good opportunities to at least secure a point, as "Leganes" played with ten men from the 54th minute onwards, and in the 60th minute Daniel Parejo failed to convert a penalty.
