Ukrainian giant Donetsk's "Shakhtar" coach Mircea Lucescu admits that the team's star Fernandinho could move to "Man City" in the summer, but they must pay at least 50 million euros.
Roberto Mancini has been closely monitoring the 27-year-old Brazilian, who also interests several other European clubs. However, "Man City" remains the main candidate to acquire him.
The senior coach of "Shakhtar" easily protects against surrendering to former English champions, as they expect to receive 50 million euros for this player.
"If "Man City" wants to sign a contract with Fernandinho, let them prepare 50 million euros," the strategist told PRO television.
"In any case, if players from our team receive offers from stronger clubs than "Shakhtar", we try to help them. This time we do not intend to do so, as "Man City" is of a similar level," said M. Lucescu.
This season, Fernandinho scored 5 goals in 32 matches played for the Donetsk team.
