The newspaper "Guardian" announces that Donetsk "Shakhtar" team president Rinatas Akhmetov has donated $25 million from the amount received for Mykhaylo Mudryk to Ukrainian soldiers and their families.
"I allocate $25 million from Mykhaylo's transfer to help our soldiers, defenders and their families. The money will be allocated to meet various needs - from medical and prosthetic treatment and psychological support to meeting specific requests. Distribution will be guided by an independent team of professionals who will work with Azovstal defenders, their families, caregivers, and volunteers.
"This is the heart of Azovstal - a completely new project that will help Mariupol defenders and the families of fallen soldiers. Their sacrifice and courage helped to suppress the enemy in the first months of the war, providing a platform for Ukraine's inevitable victory." - said Rinatas Akhmetov.
London's "Chelsea" paid 100 million euros for talented Ukrainian. Last season, he scored 10 goals and made 8 assists in 18 games.
