The future of Lithuanian football youth should be represented by the National Football Academy (NFA), but they suffered disgrace as they lost 2:1 to Klaipėda's "Koralas" in the seaport.
The scandal-ridden "Koralas" had not yet won any points in the First League this year, and to make matters worse, they had lost 0:12 to the team at the bottom of the table, "Kupiškis".
The NFA trainees started the match successfully - in the 16th minute they took the lead, but within three minutes, Daniel Danu of "Koralas" took the initiative and scored twice against the Lithuanian youth team.
Furthermore, from the 76th minute, the NFA team played with ten men, as Arnas Paura received his second yellow card.
In the second division, NFA currently holds the tenth position, with most points being earned at the beginning of the season.
"Koralas" had registered 13 players for this match. It is reported that the people of Klaipėda made substitutions during a match for the first time in three months.
