AC Milan forward Andriy Shevchenko has stated that he will most likely not play this Saturday against the "Modena" team, as he feels unprepared for the match.

The Ukrainian suffered an injury this week during a friendly match against the Macedonian national team.

After examination, it was revealed that Shevchenko could play despite the injury, but the player himself stated that he is not completely ready.

"Running during training, I feel strange, so most likely I will not play this weekend, but the final decision will be made today," Shevchenko told Milan television.

"Of course, I will definitely be ready for the match against 'Deportivo'."

If it is decided not to allow Shevchenko on the field, the attack will be led by Tomasson and Inzaghi.
