- What is football to you?

- It's been my passion since childhood. Even now, as a professional, football is like a job for me, and I still enjoy playing.

- Which team did you support as a child?

- "San Lorenzo", because my father was a fan of this team. I started going to matches when I was very young.

- Fondest memory from football?

- In 1996, playing in the "Copa Libertadores" final for "River Plate", I scored two goals against Oscar Cordoba, the goalkeeper of "America de Cali". Then we became champions in our "Monumental" stadium. It was also my last game for "River Plate".

- Biggest disappointment in football?

- The 2002 World Cup. I had to score goals and hoped to play more, but I spent very little time on the field.

- What would you do if you weren't a professional footballer?

- I don't know. From my first appearances on the field as a child, I knew I would become a footballer. I didn't do well in secondary school, but I knew I would be a footballer.

- Argentine rock.

- I have to say I don't read much.

- Where do you spend most of your money?

- One of my favorite activities is traveling, or I invite guests to my home.

- Playing for "River Plate", where I signed a contract at 18 years old. I trained with this team since I was 6.

- Who do you think was the most influential figure in world history?

- I don't know a lot of the names of major historical figures.

- What are you afraid of?

- Afraid of my health deteriorating.

- What was the most unpleasant thing in your life?

- The first six months at "Parma" team. I was a new team member, got injured, and my future was uncertain.

- How do you imagine the future of the world?

- There will be many challenges in the future, but when you have children, you look at everything more optimistically.

- Where do you like to spend your vacations?

- On the impressive beaches of Sardinia. The whole island is of breathtaking beauty.
