Another match of the 27th round of the "TOPsport A League" took place in the City of the Sun, where FA "Šiauliai" hosted the players of Alytaus DFK "Dainava". Although both teams created some dangerous moments, the match ended with a score of 0:0.

In the 9th minute of the meeting, the players from Alytus launched a dangerous attack when Renatas Banevičius shot near the goal after a pass from Ivan Koškonas. Shortly after, Simonas Urbys created an opportunity on the other side of the barricades, but his shot was blocked.

In the 19th minute, the ball bounced favorably to Simonas Paulius, who had a very good chance but failed to hit the target, and Eligijus Jankauskas also lacked accuracy to score. A little later, Artiomas Baftalovskis attempted a shot on goal after a pass from R. Banevičius, but a defender prevented him from scoring.

At the end of the first half, Danielis Romanovskis found himself in a very favorable situation, but he made a poor shot. Ode Abdullahi fired a cannon shot from a distance, which was stopped by Gustas Baliutavičius.

In the 52nd minute, S. Paulius found E. Jankauskas, the ball bounced off O. Abdullahi and changed direction, but the players of Dainava managed to defend. On the other side of the field, Davoras Rakičius found himself one-on-one with the goalkeeper – G. Baliutavičius won that duel.

The "Dainava" attack continued relentlessly – after Artem Bilo's pass, O. Abdullahi's header was again stopped by the goalkeeper, Gustas Zabitas' shot flew past the goal, and in the 72nd minute, Dmytro Mandryčenka, left alone in front of the goal, headed the ball inaccurately. O. Abdullahi again blasted from a distance towards the goal area. In the 80th minute, the Šiauliai team attacked dangerously, but G. Zabita cleared the ball from the goal line and kept his team's goal dry.

After the 27th round of matches, the players from Dzūkija have 29 points and are ranked seventh, while the Šiauliai players have collected 30 points and are sitting one place higher. However, Mindaugas Čepas' team has played one match fewer.
