In the 14th round of the "TOPsport A lyga", FA "Šiauliai" achieved victory and revenge. The representatives of the Sun City on the road with a score of 3:1 (2:0) surpassed "TransINVEST" from Vilnius district, and after a long time and a serious injury, Deividas Šešplaukis returned to the field.

In the 16th minute, Simone Moschino repelled a long attempt by Egidijus Vaitkūnas, and a few minutes later Artūras Žulpa dangerously struck at Lukas Paukštė's goal.

"Šiauliai" broke through in the 34th minute, when during a fast attack after David Ikauniekis's pass, Nauris Petkevičius scored. The score doubled during stoppage time - Simonas Paulius took the ball and sent it to D. Ikauniekis, whose first attempt was stopped by S. Moschino, but he sent the rebound into the goal.

In the 67th minute, N. Petkevičius could have scored a brace, but the ball grazed the goal from the outside, and a little later Misaki Sato's shot into the near corner was stopped by L. Paukštė.

The home team narrowed the gap in the 74th minute, when H. Devens' shot into the left corner of the goal found its target. Kajus Bička could have scored another goal, but his attempt was off target, and Deividas Dovydaitis's shot flew over the goal. H. Devens could have scored a brace, but his shot was blocked by E. Vaiškūnas.

However, the visitors increased their advantage at the end of the match - during a set piece, S. Moschino headed away Kristupas Keršys's shot, the ball fell to Sigitas Olberkis, who sent it into the goal.

After the 14th round, "Šiauliai" rose to the 6th position in the standings with 17 points, while "TransINVEST" team has 10 points and remains in tenth place.
