In the Lithuanian Championship "A lyga" on Friday, the postponed matches of the 15th round took place - due to the renovation works of the central stadium in Klaipėda, the home match of "Šilutė" against the "Vilnius" team was played at the "Žalgiris" stadium in the capital by agreement of both clubs.

1 - 1
37' [1 - 0] Gvidas Juška
47' [1 - 1] Mindaugas Panka (11m.)

"Šilutė": Stonys; Gaurilovas, Ramonas, Žaliūkas, Užkuraitis; Andriekus, Česnulis, Sulimenko (68' T.Kazlauskas), Šmitas (82' Kaminskas); Mačiulis, Juška

"Vilnius": Kijewski; Artiomovas, Sokolovas, M.Kazlauskas, Jagminas (46' Katsitadze); Barbosa, Panka, Radavičius, Lukša; Buinickij (57' Astrauskas), Bakalag (79' Jeršovas)

This match was of special importance because both teams have collected the same number of points in the league table, furthermore "Vilnius" sought to avenge the failure experienced in the first round inter-team duel.

The first half of the match unfolded very similarly to the previous match at the end of April - in the 38th minute, the nominal home team was brought ahead by their attacking leader G. Juška, scoring the eighth goal in the championship and joining the top scorers list along with M.Savėnas and V.Kavaliauskas from Panevėžys.

However, at the beginning of the second half, a penalty kick was awarded to "Šilutė", which was converted by Vilnius' leader M.Panka after returning to the pitch from injury, marking his fifth goal in the championship.

The remaining part of the match did not see any more goals, so the teams shared a point each, with 19 points on their tally surpassing "Žalgiris" and drawing level with "Vėtra". Interestingly, this was already the seventh draw for "Vilnius" this season.

By the way, the schedule of the 15th round was further adjusted due to the Interoto Cup tournament starting on the weekend: the match between "Žalgiris" and "Kaunas" was played earlier, and "Vėtra's" match with "Šiauliai" was postponed until August 8, so only two matches will take place on Saturday.
