The Šiauliai footballers managed to maintain this advantage until the end of the half, so they went for a break with a one-goal lead. However, after the break, everything quickly turned upside down - just two minutes into the second half, J.Sulimenko equalized the score, and after playing for a little over an hour, M. Grigalevičius put "Šilutė" in the lead, and soon increased the lead. In the 77th minute, the players from Šilutė were left with ten men after J.Sulimenko, who had already scored a goal, was sent off the field. However, G. Juška secured the victory for Šilutė in the 84th minute with a successful penalty kick from 11 meters. This was the second victory for "Šilutė", allowing them to move up to seventh place in the tournament table, while "Šiauliai", experiencing their third defeat, share positions 8-9 with Marijampolė's "Sūduva."
