In the final of the international four-team tournament held in Klaipėda, the winner became , who defeated Marijampolė's "Sūduva" with a score of 2-1 (1-1) today in the tournament final.
Although Marijampolė's team took the lead after Viktor Afanasenko's goal at the very beginning of the match, the score was leveled by Robertas Šmitas in the first half, and the victory for the team from Šilutė was secured in the 75th minute.
In the match for the third place, the Latvian team Liepaja triumphed. Although the match against the hosts FK ended in a 2-2 (1-1) draw, the Latvians were declared winners as they had a better ratio of goals scored and conceded.
The best player of the tournament was recognized as the new player of "Sūduva", Darius Maciulevičius.
