On June 10, the 2023 Stiklita Lithuanian Beach Football Championship will kick off in a new beach football field in Birštonas.
Teams will compete for the title of Lithuanian Beach Football Champions this season. Vilnius team "Igol" will try to defend the title they won last year, while teams like "Aleksotas" (Kaunas), "Dembava" (Panevėžys region), "Narjanta" (Kupiškis), "Olimpo SC" (Mažeikiai), and "Jakai" (Klaipėda region) will also strive to take the crown.
Teams will play each other in a round-robin format, and the two teams with the most points will automatically advance to the semifinals. Teams finishing in 3rd to 6th place will start the knockout stage from the quarterfinals.
The Stiklita Lithuanian Beach Football Championship will take place in three stages this season:
June 10 - Birštonas;
July 15 - Kupiškis
August 5 - Ignalina.
Registration for the Lithuanian Beach Football Cup tournament, scheduled for August, will be announced soon.
