Sami Khedira denies reports that he promises to leave the Madrid "Real" team.
The 27-year-old German, speaking in an interview with the magazine "Kicker," admitted that the royal club is in his heart and he has no reason to leave.
"I see no reason why I should leave 'Real' this winter," said S. Khedira. "This club is in my heart, so there is no thought of leaving."
The midfielder's contract with the UEFA Champions League winners expires in June 2015. The German national team member confirmed that his agent is already negotiating a new contract.
"My agent is currently negotiating a new contract with 'Real,'" added the defender.
Recently, rumors have been circulating in the press that S. Khedira's services are of interest to London's Arsenal and Chelsea.
