From a series of injuries, Sami Khedira, unable to establish himself in his personal account, announced that this summer will see the paths of him and Madrid's "Real" club separate.
The 28-year-old footballer has been plagued by injuries in recent seasons and has played very few matches in Madrid. This season, the German appeared on the field only 17 times.
S.Khedira shared a photo on his "Instagram" site and wrote: "The last time at 'Valdebebas'. I'm leaving, but I will definitely miss the 'Real' club. All the staff and especially the team players. Guys, it was an unforgettable journey!"
S.Khedira put on the "Real" jersey in 2010. During this period, he played 161 matches and scored nine goals.
The German national team defender managed to win seven titles with the team from the Spanish capital. S.Khedira's contract will expire on June 30th, so he will leave for another club for free.
