"Sky Sport Italia" sources have data that "Manchester United" club is currently in talks with the agents of "Roma" defender Kostas Manolas.
It is believed that the Greek player is wanted in the ranks of the "Red Devils", with Jose Mourinho likely to take over the team soon.
Interest in the 24-year-old footballer has also been expressed by Mourinho's former workplace, London's "Chelsea", but they were put off by the 40 million euro requested by the "Giallorossi".
However, the transfer could be complicated by a clause in Manolas' contract, which stipulates that if the player leaves Roma before September of this year, 50 percent of the transfer fee would go to his former club, Piraeus' "Olympiacos".
Nevertheless, according to "Sky Sport Italia", "Man United" intends to bypass this condition by leasing the defender.
