After failing to reach an agreement with Carlo Ancelotti, the search for another candidate did not take long, and Italy will soon have a new national team coach.
"Sky Sports" announces that the federation has reached an agreement with Roberto Mancini. The experienced Italian currently works with Zenit St. Petersburg, but he will part ways with them after the season.
The negotiations did not take long, as Mancini himself was eager to take on this job. The Italian Football Federation has agreed with the coach on a two-year contract, during which he will be paid 8 million euros.
The 53-year-old specialist has also managed teams such as Man City, Inter Milan, Lazio Roma, Galatasaray, and Fiorentina during his career.
