Wesley Sneijder does not rule out the possibility of ever pulling on the club's shirt.
The organizer of Inter Milan's attacks has recently been linked to an English team, as well as to Real Madrid, where the coach Jose Mourinho, well-known to the Dutchman, has been working since this season.
"If someone asked me if I would ever play for Man Utd, it would be impossible to say no," Sneijder said to "Daily Star Sunday". "How can you reject the opportunity to play for one of the biggest clubs in the world?
"I don't think anyone could publicly reject such an opportunity, and if they did, they would probably be lying."
He added: "Looking at the big clubs, the English league is the strongest in the world, so it would be great to end my career knowing I have played in Spain, Italy, and England.
"Not many can boast of that, but if the opportunity arises, I would like it to be Man Utd."
