However, after moving to Inter, he became one of the best players in his position in the Old Continent. It is said that he could return to Madrid, as former Italian club coach Jose Mourinho currently works there.
"Did Mourinho invite me to Real? Yes, of course," Sneijder told L'Equipe. "We keep in touch, but the possibility of a deal is impossible. I can't go back to where I was treated poorly.
"I can't pretend that nothing happened, but Real is already in the past. I will never play there again.
