Sneijder is dropped from Inter lineup, talk of moving to Man Utd continues © EuroFootball.com

"Milan's Inter sports director Marco Branca states that Wesley Sneijder will not play until he decides about his future.

Sneijder's contract with the Italian team is still valid for another two years, but the club has presented a new offer, according to which his impressive annual salary of 6 million euros would be significantly reduced due to financial difficulties. There is a possibility that due to the current situation, the 28-year-old Sneijder could be sold in January, with "Man Utd" showing particular interest.

"We are patient and calm, watching how everything will unfold," says Branca. "Wes is a part of our history, he is very important to us, but the contract needs to be adjusted for a certain period of time.

"We have given the player and his representatives time to consider our offer. However, as long as discussions are ongoing, the coach and club officials have decided not to allow Sneijder onto the field."

Sneijder arrived in Milan in 2009 from Real Madrid. He started his career at Ajax in Amsterdam."
