Sneijder is tempted by Istanbul's "Galatasaray" © EuroFootball.com

"Galatasaray" from Istanbul has started official negotiations with Milan's "Inter" about acquiring midfielder Wesley Sneijder.

Currently, the talks are happening between the clubs' leaders, and the Turkish team has not yet reached out to the Dutch star. There is a possibility that Sneijder's offer will not lure him to not one of the elite European leagues.

The situation for the Dutch player in the "Inter" team became complicated after he refused to extend his contract with a significantly lower salary. In an attempt to reduce expenses on salaries, the leaders of the Italian club suspended the player until he signs a new contract.

Several English and Spanish teams are interested in him as well, but the obstacle remains the €15 million compensation demanded by "Inter" and Sneijder's enormous salary.

The last time he appeared on the pitch was in late September, even though he has been physically ready to play for two months now.
