Athletes' income is not only made up of money earned in clubs - the most famous athletes on the planet also enjoy their fame on social networks.
"Hooper HQ" counted how much the most famous athletes earn from one "Instagram" post. The top ten is dominated by football players - in the first seven, we can see the names of football stars.
In the first position is Cristiano Ronaldo, who has the most followers (137 million) among all athletes - the Portuguese earns $750,000 for one post on Instagram.
In the second place is Brazil's football god Neymar - he earns $600,000 for each new post on his feed.
In the third place is perhaps the most prominent star on the planet - Lionel Messi. The Argentine, who doesn't live as intensively on his social network, earns around $500,000.
