It seems that Borussia Dortmund's defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, better known simply as Sokratis, will move to England.
It is reported that the Greek player, who was tempted by Manchester United, chose Arsenal in London and is now in England, where he should finalize the deal. This was confirmed by Sokratis' father himself.
"There was interest from United, but he would have had to wait until July for them. United has very good relations with Dortmund and the teams had already talked, but Sokratis chose Arsenal.
"Arsenal had already talked about it two years ago, but I don't know why an agreement wasn't signed back then," - Sokratis' father Charalambos said on Greek radio.
