Solskjaer not worried about his future: "We could receive reinforcement in January"

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer insists he has the full backing of the "Manchester United" leadership and is not worried about being unexpectedly sacked one day.

Doubts about Solskjaer's future at the Manchester team arose after a particularly unsuccessful start to the season. "Man Utd" currently occupies only the 12th position in the English "Premier" league, and this weekend will face the "Liverpool" club that has not lost any points this season.

"All the conversations that took place with the club owners and Ed Woodward were about my three-year contract," - said the Norwegian to "Sky Sports".

"We are thinking about long-term cooperation. I was given a job, so losing one or two games, I am not waiting for a call from the leadership hoping to receive additional guarantees.

From the very beginning, we prepared a plan that we will stick to. From what I have seen during the time I have been at the club, I can say with 100 percent certainty that we have the right structure. Besides all this, the coach is the one who has the final word," Solskjaer said.

Last summer, "Man Utd" brought in three newcomers - Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Daniel James. As revealed by Solskjaer, they will aim to complete the unfinished work this coming winter transfer window.

"The money is there," Ole mentioned. - "We had looked at certain players and some of them were close to arriving. There is no point in buying if you can't get the players you want."

"We have money that we can spend in the winter and summer transfer windows. We have already started planning and scouting. We are trying to select the best candidates because we did not have any such players before the end of the summer transfer window. We will have the resources if the players we truly need are available."

Finally, when asked about the number of possible new signings, Solskjaer added: "In January, we hope to receive one or two new players. If the players on our radar are available, we will definitely do something about it. If not, the current lineup will give everything."
