Solskjaer: "Pogba, like Rashford, can take penalty kicks"

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the draw against Wolves said that Paul Pogba will continue to be one of the players who will take penalties.

The French football star had a chance to extend the lead for Manchester United on Monday evening, but his penalty kick in the second half was inaccurate - Rui Patricio saved it.

In the first Premier League round, Man Utd also had a penalty, which Marcus Rashford converted against Chelsea. He was also on the pitch when Wolves earned a penalty.

"Pogba and Rashford are responsible for our penalties," said Solskjaer. "They both trust themselves and are excellent at converting penalties. When we have two such players, the one who feels the most confident at that moment will take the kick."

"Paul has scored many goals from the penalty spot before, so I don't see any problem. Sometimes during a game, you gain confidence, and sometimes there are situations when you don't want to take the shot because you feel like you are having a bad game.

"I don't have any problems when players talk and decide who will take the shot," added the coach, confirming that Pogba and Rashford will continue to share this role.
