Solskjaer: "Some players need to understand which club they represent"

"Manchester United" is entering a crucial stage of the season - a club no longer competing for trophies each season in England is now focusing all attention on finishing in the top four.

"Man Utd" this week exited the UEFA Champions League. In total, in the last few matches, the "Red Devils" have only won twice. In the Premier League, "United" is currently struggling, and climbing to a higher position will not be easy - they now face a series of three matches against "Everton", "Man City", and "Chelsea".

Speaking at a press conference before the matches, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer stated that he is satisfied with the work of the majority of the players, but there are some who need to "wake up".

When asked if the players' attitudes have changed since the team finished its successful first few months and started facing problems, Solskjaer replied: "I'm not sure about that. Over all these months, I learned a lot about them. I know them well and know who they are."

"Many of them surprised me with their dedication, but some need to seriously rethink where they stand. However, most of them know that they can improve their game if they continue to work in the right direction.

Each training session and every match clearly show the level of all players. We work with a fantastic group with whom we aim to create the desired environment. Players are also in control of what happens here, but it will depend on their performance on the field what their future (short-term or long-term - ed.) will be in this club," said the specialist.
