Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needed almost three months to experience a loss with Manchester United in England.
The impressive unbeaten streak was broken at the Emirates Stadium, where London's Arsenal secured a 2-0 victory. After the defeat, Man Utd dropped to fourth place in the league table.
Speaking after the match, Solskjaer stated that United did not deserve to lose.
"We started the match slowly, perhaps it was due to our performance on Wednesday. However, we created enough opportunities. They scored first and the match turned completely different.
Today we created more chances than when we beat Arsenal in the FA Cup. We hit the woodwork twice and overall we had five good chances to score," said the Norwegian.
Asked about the penalty kick, which gave Arsenal a two-goal advantage, Solskjaer responded: "The referee will be disappointed when he sees the replay. I really don't think it was a penalty."
