The hopes of South Korea and possibly the last chance of Heung-min Son to win the Asian Cup ended in the semi-finals.

In the semi-final, South Korea lost 0-2 to the Jordanian national team, which will play in the Asian Cup final for the first time in their football history.

Jordan won after goals by Yazan Al-Naimat and Mousa Al-Taamari in the second half.

The next semi-final will take place on Wednesday, where Qatar and Iran will face off.
