"Southampton" club - unexpected changes: 55-year-old football specialist Claude Puelis has been dismissed from the position of head coach.
The reasons for this decision are not disclosed, but it is believed that the strategist did not find common ground with the club management regarding player transfers in this summer's transfer window.
C. Puelis took over as the head coach of the "Southampton" club last summer and had a three-year contract. The Frenchman did not secure his place in the team, and the results in the "Premier" league were quite good - they held the eighth position.
Throughout his career, C. Puelis coached only French clubs apart from "Southampton" - "Nice," "Lyon," "Lille," and "Monaco."
In an official statement from "Southampton," it is stated that the club will soon start the search for a new strategist.
