"Southampton" sacked M. Pellegrino

"Southampton" team leaders' patience cup overflowed. Some Premier League outsiders announced that they have relieved Mauricio Pellegrino of his duties as head coach. Just a week ago, it was announced that the coach's services would only be terminated at the end of the season, however, the struggling Southampton has already started looking for a new strategist. In addition to M. Pellegrino, his assistant Carlos Compagnucci and first team coach assistant Xavier Tamarit are also leaving the team. M. Pellegrino started working at Southampton in June, replacing the dismissed Claude Puel. At the moment, Southampton is in 17th place after 30 rounds with 28 points, only ahead of "Crystal Palace" and "Stoke City" in 18th and 19th places.
