"Southampton" seeks to reclaim A. Oxlade-Chamberlain

The English newspaper "Daily Mirror" reports that the "Southampton" club this summer wants to bring back country defender Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

In the ranks of London's "Arsenal," the Englishman had a not-so-successful season - in 33 matches he scored only two goals in all competitions and only had two assists.

Chamberlain was considered one of the main future stars of the "Gunners," but recently doubts have arisen among both the team's coaches and fans.

Meanwhile, "Southampton," where the 22-year-old footballer graduated from the academy, is ready to pay him the biggest salary in the whole team and appoint him as vice-captain.

Currently, Transfermarkt.com values the defender at 20 million euros.
