The Olympic men's football tournament has reached its climax.
On Monday, it was revealed that the tournament final will feature the teams from Spain and France.
In the first semifinal, the Spaniards defeated Morocco with a score of 2:1.
The first goal of the match was scored by the Moroccans in the 37th minute when Soufiane Rahimi found the net from the penalty spot.
The score was equalized by Fermín López in the 66th minute, and the Spaniards secured their victory with a goal from Juanito Sánchez in the 85th minute.
In the other semifinal, the host nation, France, overcame Egypt 3:1 after extra time.
The first goal of the match came in the 62nd minute when Mahmoud Saber put the Egyptians ahead.
In the 83rd minute, Jean-Philippe Mateta equalized, and the teams had to play extra time.
In the 99th minute, Mateta again put France ahead, and Michael Olise sealed the victory for the hosts.
