On Wednesday, the first UEFA Nations League semi-final was played. The Spanish national team advanced to the final, defeating the Italians with a score of 2:1. The Spaniards took the lead in the 17th minute after Ferran Torres scored a goal. At the end of the first half, the situation for the Italians became critical: in the 42nd minute Leonardo Bonucci was sent off the field, and in added time F. Torres scored another goal. Lorenzo Pellegrini revived Italian hopes in the 83rd minute, but the Spaniards did not let victory slip away in the remaining time.
