On Friday in the city of Varazdin (Croatia), at the European U-17 championship final, Santi Denia's players forced the English team to surrender after a penalty shootout 4:1.
The main match ended in a 2:2 draw. In the first half, the goal of Chelsea's player Callum Hudson-Odoi was answered by Barcelona's representative Mateu Morey.
In the second half, the teams exchanged goals once again. Phil Foden, belonging to Man City, could have become the hero of the match, but with 10 minutes left, young Villarreal talent Nacho Diaz equalized the score.
The Spaniards became champions for the third time in their history - previously achieving this feat in 2007 and 2008.
