According to "Marca," it is unlikely that Spain will host the World Cup - the tournament will most likely be entrusted to three South American countries: Paraguay, Argentina, and Uruguay. Morocco is also expected to enter negotiations. However, Spain's priority is the 2028 European Championship. Portugal is also aiming for it, but the Spanish remain confident in their chances. The 2020 European Championship will be held in 12 different countries, including several matches at the Athletic Club stadium in Bilbao. The final decision for the 2024 tournament will be made on September 27th - the competition will be hosted by either Turkey or Germany.
